UV Flush — Printhead Cleaning Solution
ARISTA UV Flush is a professional cleaning fluid designed to dissolve and remove cured and uncured UV ink residue from printheads, ink lines, dampers, and capping stations. Use it when switching ink brands, performing routine printhead maintenance, or recovering a printhead with reduced jetting performance.
Compatible with all major UV printhead types. Regular flushing extends printhead life significantly and prevents the costly nozzle blockages that lead to banding and downtime.
When to use: ink brand changeover, periodic maintenance, nozzle recovery, printer storage preparation.
UV Primer — Adhesion Promoter for Difficult Substrates
Not all substrates accept UV ink directly. Glass, polypropylene, certain metals, and some coated plastics have low surface energy that causes UV ink to bead, crack, or peel after curing. ARISTA UV Primer is applied before printing to chemically prepare the substrate surface, dramatically improving ink adhesion and scratch resistance of the finished print.
A single pass of primer is typically sufficient. The result is a print that passes tape adhesion tests and withstands handling on substrates that would otherwise be unprintable.
Typical applications: glass, PP, PE, aluminium, powder-coated metals, ceramic tiles, some textiles.
UV Varnish — Gloss Finish and Surface Protection
ARISTA UV Varnish is a clear overprint fluid applied after printing to seal and protect the printed surface. It cures under the same UV or LED-UV lamp as your inks, adding a uniform gloss finish that enhances colour depth and provides resistance to abrasion, moisture, and light handling.
Widely used in packaging prototypes, point-of-sale displays, decorative panels, and premium signage where surface quality is part of the deliverable.
Effect: high gloss finish, increased scratch resistance, improved colour saturation appearance.
